 TWISTED NERVE (1968)

Review: Hard to find British shocker, with plenty of nods to "Psycho".  Considered to be the very first British splatter film.  A woman has two children, one's a mongoloid, and the other a homicidal maniac, jeez, talk about your bad luck.  Hayley Mills befriends the lunatic, only to be hunted down by this chromosome defect.  Gory stabbing with scissors, and axe murder sequences, along with a musical score by Bernard Herrmann.  Fullscreen, in English, no subtitles.  Quality A-

Directed by: Roy Boulting

Starring: Hayley Mills, Frank Finlay
